All About Pocket Knives

After a couple days of Christmas trappers I was relieved to get back to some good old no-frills cuttin' knives.

Like that Buck No work this week went with a Wadsworth sleeve board today

An old stockman and a newer friction folder.

Kickstart, Gerber, and a small RR cotton sampler.

These two today.

Nice pairing David, ya got all the bases covered for cutting and punching with those two.

I like the sleeveboard garddogg.

Ken I have a rough black kickstart that I’ve been packing a while. It’s about the only assisted opening knife I’ve ever liked! Case sure did it right with these. I was skeptical at first, but I love mine.

How are you likeing yours?

Two of my favorite styles of Case jigged bone, geocash. Really like that toothpick.

I've had my sawcut 14 and the mystery dogleg with me for the last couple days. After putting fresh edges on the dogleg's old steel I can zip through almost anything with these two.

I like it, very well made. That said however, I would like to see a couple changes though.
1. move the thumb stud a little towards the tip.
2. make the pocket clip with a bend in it so the knife rides lower in the pocket.

I agree, the thumb stud definitely could be a little closer to the tip.

I'm setting here in front of my PC, reading this thread, "What are you carrying now? What is your fav EDC?" It finally occurred to me, there is a knife that is always in a tray beside my PC, that's always ready for use, 24 hr per day, 365 days per year, and has been since I started using a computer Many years ago. This knife measures, 3/16" X 1/2" X 5 3/8" open. It's marked Made in Germany, on one side of its single blade. The scales are chrome plated steel. This little knife is of utter simplicity in design, and gets used daily. Some things get taken for granted, but, now I'd just love to know the maker of this simple knife. Can any of you experts help? Thanks.

Handy little unit courtesy of Gunstock Jack. Used it over the weekend and the already appreciated piece really endeared itself in many ways. Forget it's in the pocket but decent blade to do what is needed.
