You see them occasionally. But thay aren't that common. I've always thought them to be pretty cool.

Nice one! It's always concerning when a seller on the bay describes something completely different than what the photos show. Glad you got the better end of this.

Nice fishtail, Doglegg. I've always liked the looks of the cracked ice scales.

I’m not a Barlow guy, but that one might just tip me over the edge. That’s extra nice!

When it rains it pours, and this time in a good way. It’s been a long dry spell since life necessitated the great sell off of 2019. But I’ve made out like a bandit for my birthday. More than I deserve for sure.

A couple of days before, Valerie bought me this Buck 110 in oak and 5160 because I told her how much I liked it. Then on my birthday she gave me this big ol CASE 10265 saber ground blade and black canvas micarta scales, just because she really likes the scales!

Today a box arrived from Amazon and in it was this green handled Opinel #8.

And my oldest boy just informed me there’s another Buck in transit somewhere headed my way too. I sure don’t rate all this, but I sure do love them all.....and the knives too!

Wade, maybe getting older isn't so bad after all. Great knives and variety.

I was thinking the other day about some “old knives” that I really like. And realized some of them “old” knives were younger than me.

Kinda puts things in perspective.
