Ripster...here's the description that SMKW (Smokey Mountain Knife Works) has on these knives. That's where I purchased them.

"All the knives in the Rough Ryder Buckshot Bone series feature genuine bone handles with "Buckshot" texture and red under-liners, 440A stainless steel blades with frosted blade etch, half-stops, match strike pulls and heavy swedging, nickel silver Slant R bolsters, and the Rough Rider 20 Years Shield. Each knife comes with a decorative magnetic clasp collector's box."

As to the tang stamps...they're marked RR on one side, then model #/China on another side. The blades are etched 440 / "Razor Sharp". Only one of the knives has a 'horseshoe' stamp. ::shrug:: Those who are more familiar with RR knives may be able to add to this.

Edit: Ripster...as a side note, and if interested, Bladeforums.com has a 249 page thread on Rough Ryder knives. I didn't peruse the entire thread, so don't know if they mention a tang stamp chart or not.

Ya know...I just looked at my photos again of the RR knives and noticed that "Ryder" is spelled two different ways on the blades. "Ryder" and "Rider" Is this a fluke, or is this the price one pays for imported knives? ::shrug:: Does RR use the name interchangeably? Any 'Master' RR guys out there who can educate this novice on RR knives?

Edit:

Well, I just found the answer to my own question: From SMKW;

ROUGH RYDER KNIVES
"The Rough Ryder brand was founded on the idea that a high-quality pocket knife doesn’t have to break the bank. Rough Ryder knives deliver a similar high-end touch, feel, and performance as the premium brands at a fraction of the price. With a huge selection of pocket knives, fixed blades, modern folding knives, and many more, the Rough Ryder collection has something for everyone. The 25th anniversary of the Rough Ryder brand ushered in a new era - we’ve returned to the name that built a legacy. Before Rough Rider was spelled with an I, Rider was spelled with a y. Now that we’ve gone back to our roots, we’re committed to bringing you more incredible knives at unbeatable prices. And as always, Rough Ryder is always built by hand and backed for life."

So, it appears one could get a RR knife with either spelling, until the old "Rider" stock is depleted. I'm glad now I have both. Special me! :D

If you are a knife enthusiast the old Camillus jack that Floyd posted above is just SO attractive, every bit as much now as when it first came out about 70 or more ? years ago.
Regarding RR knives: there are no tang stamp charts. But every knife has a number stamped on it that started at 100 ? or 001 ? and have gone up in order of release date, now into the 2000's. Note that same pattern will have a different number for each handle material; i.e. number is specific to both pattern and handle type.
Changing "Rider" to "Ryder" is of no significance as far as quality goes. It might confuse someone new to these knives.
The quality of my early RR knives purchased in 2007 is top notch. They obviously found a very good manufacturer right from the beginning for the traditional style folders. The RR fixed blades and tactical style knives are decent but not as good as the traditional style folders.

Nice catch, Floyd. That bone is something else, indeed; wouldn't mind seeing the pile side. How's the condition of the blades and spring?

EDIT: Just saw the pile side photo posted in the Camillus forum. Beautiful!!! ::tu::

Doc B wrote: Fri Jul 31, 2020 11:28 pm Had this for two days now and it's rapidly become one of my favorite knives. This is my third Lionsteel and none have disappointed me. The pinchable sheepsfoot came shaving sharp, out of the box. My love for the sheepsfoot got sealed, with the GEC 93. This is a big knife, in a small package. The satin finished, copper handles make it a slim; yet, solid knife, in hand. It has crisp opening , half stop and closing snaps. With M390 steel it will handle a lot of chores. Will be interested to see the copper age. I usually like to carry a smaller traditional knife and a larger knife, to handle heavier duty. This really can fill either role. I think this is going to be a staple for quite a while.

Received another Marbles by Dave Shirley today. I wasn’t certain of what I was getting but hoped it was the knife in the photo and not what was described. The seller had this listed as bone handled. Under color he had “red delrin”, but as you can see it’s buffalo horn. Another Congress to add to my collection and another Marbles by Dave Shirley.

First knife I have bought in MONTHS. I don't even know why I bought it - I guess just because I thought it was interesting. A fishtail stiletto that is not an auto, with a Hammer Brand USA tang stamp. Who knew they even made these?? :D
