I picked this up today, the latest addition to the zoo. Not my usual type of "Deer Head", but I am more than pleased with it. I wouldn't be wrong saying that it's in mint condition. The only tang stamp says ROSTFREI (I know what it means). I do not care what the country of origin is. I took some pictures, here they are.

I just acquired this Imperial, "Deer Head", camping/scouting style pocket knife. It will make a wonderful addition to the zoo. It'll get the once over when I receive it. I'll take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

I just obtained this "unbranded", 2 blade, "Deer Head" pocket knife. I believe it to be either a KINGSTON or an ULSTER brand pocket knife. No matter, it's another great looking acquisition for the zoo. I'll give it the once over when I receive it, although it looks like it is in fantastic condition. I'll take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).
***** A special thanks to Scott, aka knifegnome for selling it to me. ::handshake:: *****

This morning my mailbox produced this knife. Another Imperial, 2 blade, "Longhorn Steer" pocket knife. It will fit in the zoo nicely. It received a mild cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

Today I add two more "Deer Head" knives to the zoo. Another Imperial "Deer Head", camping/scouting style pocket knife and an unbranded, 2 blade, "Deer Head" pocket knife. The unbranded knife is "probably" an Ulster 55D. The Imperial needed cleaning, the other didn't. I took some pictures and here they are.

This "Deer Head" pocket knife will soon be joining the zoo. It might actually be an "Elk Head" or a "Moose Head." According to jxr1197 (Jason), it's an Imperial Mexico. When I receive it, I'll give it a thorough going over and clean it if necessary. Pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

***** A special thanks to Jason for bringing this knife to my attention. ::handshake:: *****

This is the latest addition to the zoo. Not my usual type of "animal head" pocket knife. It's one of the Imperial, "HECHO EN MEXICO" style of pocket knives. It has a "Moose Head"(?) on the handles, so that qualifies it for the zoo. If there was a tang stamp, it isn't there now. Per jxr1197 (Jason), it is definitely one of the Imperial, "HECHO EN MEXICO" style of pocket knives. It needed some minor cleaning. I took pictures and here it is. Again, sorry for the quality of the pictures, my camera is acting up. I'm also adding the scans that I made of the sides/handles of the knife.

Today, I obtained these two knives for best offer. Both are PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd) pocket knives. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story/connection. The first/top knife has a "Moose Head" on the handles. Both have a German Shepherd on the tang. That qualifies both of them for residency at the zoo. They may need cleaning. When I receive them, I'll give them the once over, take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).

Today, this knife joins the zoo. It is a PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd), 2 blade, pocket knife. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story/connection. It's a real stretch for zoo residency, but it does have the profile of a German Shepherd's head on the tang. That does qualify it for residency at the zoo. It definitely needed a cleaning and it got one. I took some pictures and here it is.

Today, this knife joins the zoo. It is a PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd), "deer/moose head" handles, 2 blades with cap lifter/bottle opener, pocket knife. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story/connection. Besides the "deer head" handles, it also has the profile of a German Shepherd's head on the tang. That double qualifies it for residency at the zoo. It did need a little cleaning, I took some pictures and here it is.

Purchased today, for best offer, this knife will soon join the zoo. It is a PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd), single blade, hawkbill pruner pocket knife. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story/connection. It's a real stretch for zoo residency, but it does have the profile of a German Shepherd's head on the tang. That does qualify it for residency at the zoo. It looks like it's in great condition. It'll get the once over when I receive it. Here it is.
