Thanks guys. On he punch, some winchester knives had the Nap punch for a stretch and changed over to a different style. Had to do with how they were made. I posted some pics and info in the winchester thread in this forum.

This is a great piece of info posted by New_Windsor_NY
It gives the exact day in 1929 the Honk Falls factory burnt down.
The info about how old the building was is inaccurate.
The map shown here is dated 1875 and the Duvall Rake factory is shown in the top left corner. The building was in fact older then 1875. Duvall operated into the late 1890’s before health caught up with him. Another cool piece of info that has been posted shows his business. This is the oldest pic I have of the building. It would be no earlier then 1898 since the power lines are clearly visible from n front of the building. The Napanoch Knife Co. was one of the first customers of the utility.

I got this knife in a group of knives from an auction. This is my first experience with Honk Falls. I thought I would share.

I appreciate the quick feedback. I received it in a group of knives. I had no idea what all was in there and I was surprised when I saw the Honk and thought I ask the experts. Thanks!

Thanks guys. Scott I really don’t know. It was suggested that maybe it was used for voiding checks. Be interested to hear any thoughts on that for sure.
