Thanks ~Q~. Customs official thought it was a switchblade, eh? Looks like they don't hire the brightest and the best. I wonder if he can speak English.

This is a 53 Cuban Castro. I like it but I like the slanted bolsters on your 54 better.

I did a little trade with Paul down in Tulsa OK (KnifeSlinger#81) and he generously sent along this CRKT 2385 Folts Mimimalist as a cherry on the top. Ain't it just the cutest little thing. It not only grabbed me, it grabbed my buddies too.

Those four-bladers remind me one sold years ago by (WESTERN?) called a dynamite knife, and was used by blasters, apparently. Anyhow, I see these wharncliffe blades as meretricious sheep hooves. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet? They are nice. Here is another one.

Hi Dale,
That is a very nice Wharnie you have there. It looks very similar to the one you sold me some time back. I love mine.
Tony.

Of all the knives I wish I had more of, a wharncliffe blade is the one. I only have one Remington, it's the worst condition knife I own with a replacement pen blade but one of my favorites.
