Well, I was mistooken, yes bone, but jigged not smooth, red not white. Yes Barehead, not double bolster.

I knew I was going to like the ebony from the get go and had one preordered. I immediately ordered up one of these red bones as soon as this picture hit the GEC website yesterday. Just a stunning knife with the bone IMO. Probably have a repeat performance when the yellow hits...

The Rendevous was a great experience. I must thank Sarah, for sticking around and helping me out with the display, and talking to those who showed up!
I didn't see the Bone EOs finished, but judging from the Ebony ones, I ordered an Ebony and a jigged bone. They are great knives at a good price, IMO.
Can't wait to get 'em in my grubby paws!

I was very interested in a Barlow with the Sheepfoot main blade, but then went after a Boys Knife last weekend when I saw that it was also available with a Sheepfoot. After I got the Ebony #15 EO in my hands and enjoyed the quality of the knife, I knew I needed to have a Smooth Ivory-bone Barlow with a Sheepfoot too - just ordered this one today. That antique Yellow is a nice, rich color this time around. Every batch varies somewhat!!

Is there any chance that someone has a line as to where I can find a Smooth Bone Tom's Choice for sale? I've been hunting the net and everywhere that says they have them doesn't. And everywhere else is sold out...I really want this one, much more than the others so any help would be appreciated.

Got mine today (that was some lightning fast shipping Barry!) It is as nice in the hand as you have read about; perfect fit & finish, just the right amount of opening and closing snap, and a fine looking shape to the blades and bolsters - GEC did the Sheepfoot Barlow right! OH

Thanks Monk and Jon - this is one very nice Barlow. I bought the #15 EO Boy's Knife first and almost passed on the Barlow - now that I have it in hand I'm surely glad I ordered it - they make a nice pair! OH
