Lyle, yes it does. I've got a large Camillus stockman with a similar spey.

Sta-Sharp 4 blade Cattle knife, decent shape except someone modified the spey blade into another punch. Pretty sure made by Camillus.

JohnR, very nice knives. It's hard not to really like, and admire all the knives posted here. Here are a couple Remington's. Some are better than others.

Adding this Imperial 1936 - 1952 to my EDC

Bottom line, that's a fine old knife, Scott, an EDC that won't let you down!

Two 3 7/8 inch Cattaraugus cattle / stockmen knives. Both stamped bone 42179 and French Pearl 42172.

Scott, I love that knife so much. You seem to have gotten a near-perfect master blade on yours, too. That baby's gonna hold a fine edge for you, an excellent EDC choice.

Those are some great looking Remingtons. Ive got 2 Remington Jr. cattleman, 3 3/8". One is acorn shield with slant bolsters and sparkling green handles
with the circle tangstamp.The other one I bought as a rebuilder as it had a broken spring, broken red plastic handles and straight line Remington tang stamp. I made a new spring, rehandled in coca bola and repinned. But both of mine have been heavily resharpened and are not nearly as nice as the ones you pictured. I think the cattleman knives are one of the neatest patterns. I have others that have the spiral awl blades.
