Thanks, I think that will be the first one to repair. The main blade has a bunch of superficial scratches, but has a strong snap and no wobble. I'll search for a second blade...

.a really.old Townsley. I really know nothing about it or the age but it is definitely old and well worn I'm actually looking to trade or sale for something that is not a project. I am not set up for repair

I added one to this pile yesterday and I finally figured out what I look for in a knife (I couldn't locate the thread by that name). This is the bunch I have out so I can see all the time. It seems intact handles are the most important, blade wear less so- as long as they're not snapped in half. I like old ones and no plastic handles of any kind. Thanks

Some real beautiful knives there Bruce!

Received this from my neighbor a couple years ago. She told me she paid $1.00 for it!

A couple of Case parts knives I recently obtained. The Case folding hunter has had the clip blade reground into a double edge point "dagger". Done with an electric grinder of course. The trapper was almost abused to death.

Couple old worn ones but still have nice looking bone, a Buster Brown scout and a New York Knife CO pen.

Some of you fellas got a weird definition of broken, beat-up, battered.......

Handles are cracked on this old Camillus and the blades have loss.....

Nice Dimitri, might have a broken leg but it found a good home and won't have to worry about getting tossed in the trash. I love the handles

Beautiful handles Dimitri - I have the same blade arrangement in an old Holley with ivory handles but no where as nice as this handle and shield!!

While this Buck 301 is not as old as others pictured here, it certainly is broken, battered, and bruised. It has date code C, denoting 1995 manufacture. It apparently was carried or fell into a piece of powered equipment, by the looks of the missing handle materials, and bent and broken liner. It has a good shield and the blades are good, so a parts knife it will become.

O C don't you wonder how the shield stayed on through all that damage? Amazing.

Jabb,that one certainly qualifies. How bout a close up picture of your avatar.

This Camco camper knife has had some abuse of the electrical type. Someone may have gotten a "short in their shorts" from this incident. It definitely was in a place where it should not have been.

OC that looks like my dad's old knife. His always had a burn or two on them. He was a mechanic and it was a tool. I had posted it before but here it is again.
