Here is an odd one that I just picked up. I had a pearl handled one just like it that did not have the levers to open the blades. They were gone and the man I got it from made a tool to open the blades. This one is marked E.Zinn Germany. Pretty cool the way the levers slid in and out to open the blades!!

I've got the Ocean Insurance advertising version of this knife. can you do more pictures? The levers are missing off of mine. Dimitri will like to see this. Now I know what they look like.

That's really a rare and Nice one Mike nice score .You seem to have a nack for finding these. I have seen one other German knife made like this one but it had a"Bristol" stamp. It was also a German made knife. I had bid on it but got beat out on it and have regretteed not bidding higher as I have yet to see another . It and yours have been the only two German style knives I've seen with this style of mechanisms . Which the opening mechanisms look a little different . Is yours different much form the Hatch, Wilzon or Automatic knife company stamped knives( like the last 2 pictures ) or do they pretty much all work the same ??

Don't know how I left this one out. 1997 Zippo/Case Visitor's Center. Commemorates the opening of the Visitor's Center in Bradford, PA. Number 0372/1000 sets. Handles are pewter. Presentation case is cherry with laser engraving.

Thanks Paul. They did two series, one for Zippo and one for Case. This one is for Zippo.

Howdy all, boy this gets overwhelming at times,I can't remember what thread I've been on or which knives Ive shown so forgive me if I'm redundant Any way here goes, the dagger looks as if it had leather or some type of material wound around it, the knife next to it has colonial stamp on one tang, no other marks. In the other pic the one at upper left is a gerber paul knife, the others no markings. the 007jpg is a Imperial knife, army issue? .anyway coolsite everybody is very helpful and I believe I have an addiction! Oh, I almost forgot the belt buckle knife ,Gerber.

Nice knives for sure, shugy. ...what year is your Imperial Scout/Utility knife?.....I've seen a lot of those Gerber's..but never with just metal handles..do you think it originally came out that way?

Thanks Jr, I did'nt realize that was a scout knife, yr is 1966. as for the gerber as far as I can tell it is original as is and it has a little leather sheath for it also :mrgreen:Since this was the first time I really looked at these knives I missed the fact one of the springs on the scout is broken, any ideas on where to look for replacement?

Actually its not.. ..it’s a utility knife for the US Army.....I call them Scout/Utility because they have the same blades...sorry,didn't mean to steer you wrong.
I recently purchased a 1967...and was warned to keep it oiled good because they are prone to back spring breakage.
I'm sure there are plenty of members that could fix it for ya or have a sprig.....maybe post it in the want ads forum or restoration forum.

Back side center pin?.....I don't have mine readidly at hand to see. ....my guess would be its there to make sure that it doesn't come apart....and maybe to take apart more easily.
Since that is the pivot pin.

Backside left pin, strange because it won't come apart with just that one removed?

Partner...I have no idea.
Hopefully someone will pipe in that has more knowledge about them. ....Dimitri (Miller Bro`s) would definitely know.

Got this one in a few days ago....had to clean it up quite a bit.
