My Holy grail knife is a Great Eastern Cutlery Barlow. I have looked for one many times and haven't been able to pick one up that I am looking for. Maybe one day one will come along. Don't like a clip point blade, handle material is important. The list goes on and the availability is tough!

Tom, there is a Presto-Lite key on the knife. Also a small spoon shaped gouge and a tool that I think was used to gap spark plugs.

Larry,, Your grail knife would also be mine except that there is no possibility of my acquiring an original by the late Mr. Bagwell. I was fortunate to acquire my original grail knife, a Damascus-bladed Bowie by Jerry Fisk.

My Great Grandfather, Diz W. Dean operated a hardware store in McBride Michigan from Oct 1904 up until he passed away in the 40's. Dean Hardware was still in business in the late 1960's as I recall. So, for me a grail knife would be one marked Dean Hardware if such a thing exists.

I had discovered them from Schrades catalogs. David Anthony ,seeing my passion for collecting FJs , was kind enough to give me this farmers jack from Schrade , Which I sent it to Ken Erickson.

That must be a rare one Tom to have Mike drooling.
I wouldn't mind my rich uncle buying this one for me ,if we could find where it went. I am trying to locate it , I don't know what I'll do then.

nope Harold, she's going to stay as found and I'll only take whatever preservation efforts are necessary. I placed her in a shadowbox along with the almost 100-year old Remington Boy's Life advertisement but other than that she'll stay as-is for as long as I'm called to be her caretaker. She was on the cover of a national magazine which I think was pretty cool but not as cool as the heroic efforts of Harry Berg! Thanks for asking Harold.
