Mike that is a dilly of a display case...I would expect no less from you. You have a great looking Man cave! Love the Mirror and lighting. It looks to be a great place to hang out in and tinker around. I have super zoom on my lap top and caught it in the reflection of the glass on your display. ::nod:: Just as I noticed several ol' blue ribbons...why were they awarded? Great stuff as always Mike!

Dimitri, That one is near mint. As you know when they come in super nice condition they come with a super nice condition price... but I like to dicker and trade, so a fella can end up on a pretty good note. 8) ::super_happy::

Hers' a neat one.

Remington's "Our Hunting Heritage" Bicentennnial Coin 1976. Hard to believe that was forty years ago! The knife marked at 2006 denotes several special dates and fits well with the theme.

This is my Remington display. It says Remington Dupont on the bottom and both sides. It says fine american made pocket knives across the top. Holds twenty four knives in front and has storage in back. Mike.

I'm guessing the display is from the thirties. I got it from a friend who said it was his grandfathers and he owned a hardware store back then. The dupont logo kinda fits that era i understand, and the prices listed in the display are all between a dollar or two. Mike.

Scout, any idea of a value on these displays? I saw one like yours on a web site a while back, the guy was asking 850.00. Could that be possible? I have been looking on e-bey, but can't find any. I wish I could remember the site where I saw it. Wonder if it ever sold? Did you clean yours up? If so, what did you use? I haven't touched mine, afraid of messing up finish. HELP!!! Mike

850.00 is about right , mine had lots of white paint drops all over and was a pain to remove but other than that I just used wood furniture cleaner .

Scout is your display older than mine? Mine seems to be black paint, witch is not a color that Remington usually paints their stuff. I'll try to clean it up a bit, maybe it's just dirt!! HE HE.

Beautiful display cases. I saw a Dupont era stained glass lamp a while back that was very tempting.

Here is another stock knife. This one has seen some use and sharpening.

Thanks for looking.

Joe you are welcome. Just to be clear, I have offers in on the lot of these, but they are yet in my personal collection. Working and hoping on a good out come. ::nod:: They are so colorful and have great content. Great pieces of advertising art that you don't get a chance to see everyday. ::tu::

All sold at auction...Way to rich for my wallet... most sold between 1,000-1,500 each per Hal Boggess. Krazy numbers but if I had it to spare... ::paranoid:: I would. Great pieces. He has one calendar left for $850. It is from 1928 and It's called, "old boy we have a great combination". I did purchase a few other items that I will post when they arrive. ::tu::
