Large tractor and old engine show flea market. Handle looks like oak? Any idea on the maker please? SOLINGEN Germany fixed blade with ORIGINAL sheath $3 WITH ELK. BRASS GUARD 3 1/2 in blade with blood groove. 7 inch overall Needs to be stitched.

Edge Brand and Edge Mark are two Solingen cutlers who use an elk on their sheaths similar to yours. Hope that helps.

I think the handle might have shrunk and turning the pommel nut tighter exposes some of the threads at end of tang. Or, handle has been apart and in putting it back together one of the spacers was omitted.

Every thing shows stag handles, so it may have been replaced with wood. spacers not even or smooth either.

Just finished this one up, it is Alabama Damasacus blade with a piece of dyed whale bone for a handle. Hand stitched sheath also. ::handshake:: Terry

Thanks for the complements guys. Here's a shot I took of my Bark River knives. From top to bottom they are Micro Canadian, Gunny, Bravo 1, Bravo 1.5, Bravo Strike Force.
