Joe, that Wallkill River knife is a beauty. Since I've seen a few of your wood handled knives posted I've been on the lookout for something similar.
A walnut, cocobolo or rosewood 2 blade equal end with end caps seems to be hard to locate, at least where I've been searching. Another you posted which was bigger, and I believe maybe a Imperial got me inspired as well. Thanks for showing them. :)

Thank you, sunknife. I hope you can snag one. That single spring makes for a fine thin knife.

Carrying, but frankly probably won't use it today. Relying instead on a Colonel Coon Barlow.

Today I am just around the house and around the town a bit so I carry my usual tired old Schrade Walden 8OT stockman and a really grand Jelio puukko side knife. Tomorrow I am heading down to the the rainy/snowy/cold desert south of Wright, Wyoming with two fine friends to look at pronghorns. I will bring a firearm and two Ruana fixed blades, but I am hoping nothing like a kill will interfere with hamburgers and beers at HANK'S, and a long session of lies by all parties (although we all know each other's lies by heart).

Besides your fine Pukko Cal, your Ruana's look great. I only have one original Ruana and I treasure it.

Thanks Greg, nice looking carries and slip pouches.

Snow knocked the power out, just got it back. Glad we are not dependent on electricity for heat, hooray for lineman!

Fantastic Toungeriver!

Something about the Big Jack just feels so right in hand. It's a pretty useful (and handsome) feller, too. Had to tote it again today.

Gorgeous bones Bomba on the Case, the Tidioute is fabulous too. Oily creek looks better and better with age.

Thanks, I-Man! ::handshake:: I'm hoping GEC does something combining the texture of the muscle bone from the Whaler run with the oily creek dye pattern. I think they could knock any number of patterns out of the park with a handle selection like that.

I mentioned a little something about the snowshoe's "Rogers" bone in the Case forum EDC thread:
Tsar Bomba wrote:Still not a buyer of the "Rogers bone" claim, but I think the coloration and jigging pattern that Parker chose for his homage to Rogers on this knife is the best-looking of the ROG knives I've seen from Case. None of them will fool a collector who's handled real Rogers bone, of course.
