Thanks Joe. I like the CV (carbon steel) blade. It takes a razor sharp edge and holds it well.

That Catt is sweet Joe. I like the centered shield and the blade combo, perfect pocket carry there.

jdub, how did I miss that killer stag before? Wow.
Really like the bone on that one in "Knife Photography" with the bail Sunknife, almost white on the ends and very dark in the middle. Great stuff.
Brumbly great shot and beautiful scales, nice rescale yourself, and with that bolster and that wood it looks like a Custom. Niiiiiiiice job.

A couple years ago I was working in my shop on a Thursday with the overhead door open all day and shut the place down at the end of the day and went camping for 3 days. When I got back there was a mess where a critter had tried to chew his way out and destroyed the foam insulation on all the bottom panels of the garage door, he must have wandered in while I was hooking up the camper before I left. Was a juvenile whistle pig and he was so exhausted from the ordeal that I had to push him out of the shop with a broom and a couple hours later he was trying to get back in. I should have dispatched of him but I didn't have a pistol like yours on me.

They can be very destructive, especially with their extensive tunnels.

Trailered a load down to our new house today; secured the stuff with duct tape - used my HSB to cut it loose. OH

Been some real "wows" in this thread lately, y'all are knocking it out of the park.

Back to this pair today. The S&M Barlow zips through anything like few stainless knives I've ever owned. If I'm not careful I might fall in love with it again.

I've been carrying and using the Buck 340 for a couple weeks now in addition to my usual trapper and jack knives. It's a great little knife!
