This morning, my mail run produced these two knives. First, another GEO SCHRADE - PAT APD FOR, single blade pocket knife. It has the copper colored, pebble textured handles. I gave it a very light cleaning (first 3 pictures).
Next up, it's a PASTOR ALEMAN (German Shepherd), "deer head" handles, two blades with cap lifter/bottle opener, pocket knife. This knife "brand" is part of the Imperial Mexico story/connection. It received a little bit of cleaning (last 3 pictures).
Here is the link to a FANTASTIC article on the Imperial Mexico story/connection by jxr1197 (Jason).
It is in the April 2020 issue of Knife Magazine.

Really good looking tester bighomer! Nice find!bighomer wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 11:22 pm The postman is doing alright. This is the third melon tester I've got. When I was a juvenile delinquent all us cool dudes carried these long bladed things because we were bad and they had that five inch blade. How did we ever survive? Any way this thing is way cooler than those ole Sabres with mother of toilet seats handles were. This is a solid knife with half stops great snap and zero play.

Cool knife Jerry!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 9:35 pm My Camillus 14 finally came today. It's in good all around condition with little wear and great snap on both blades. I am such a sucker for Camillus #14's.
Very nice PB! Imperial knives are pretty cool knives! I like it!Papa Bones wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 2:34 am Got this little Imperial Jack Knife in today. A promotional knife, it is roughly 2-3/4 inch long. It has STAINLESS IMPERIAL PROV. U.S.A. on the Clip Blade and Imperial with the crown, and STAINLESS U.S.A. on the Pen blade. The Clip Blade also has etched "Super Razor Blade Stainless" Both blades have excellent snap.
I don't know why, but I've always had a fondness for promotional knives.

A mid 90's, #73 Queen Cutlery, fixed blade that my brother was wanting to sell. Q Titusville PH-D2 tang stamp, D2 Steel, Queen Cutlery Co #73 Tool Steel acid etching, original leather sheath. I can't tell if the handles are imitation, or real Winterbottom bone, very hard to tell...
All-in-all, I thing 55 bucks for a mint Queen wasn't bad. Very light knife, even with the sheath. It'll make a great, inconspicuous carry, for round the office/house.
Least I got my fixed blade fix... Till the next one arrives.

That's a very nice looking mini-trapper Jerryjerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 8:12 pm This China made Crowing Rooster Mini-Trapper came in today's mail. Very nice. I can't find anything wrong with it. Smooth action, very good walk & talk. I don't think it could have been done any better. I would get another one.

Just too bad it came from China. I'm at the point, just sick n' tired of China. I won't buy another knife made in China, no matter how nice it is
.
And that includes perty much everything i'm buying, I try to stay, at least in Taiwan. Taiwan really needs all of are support, that's all I have to say, and i'm sticking to it.
Sorry for my little rant Jerry. Believe me, it's not against you, still a very nice knife you got there

Ray's a great guy to deal with.
Very prompt with delivery. Care was taken with the packaging to make sure the knife arrived safe and sound.
Thanks again, Ray!
