Thanks doglegg, a little snow on the peaks of the Tobacco Roots, probably get some next week. My friend made the fixed blade, the cocobolo on the sheath is sewed on, his mom made the sheath. The whittler from Joel is top shelf, very difficult pattern to get perfect. Have a great Saturday everyone!

Great knives fellers, absolutely stunning, gorgeous and well just WOW!!!! You may have not noticed it but one of my greatest attributes is stating the obvious . The ones I'm tote'n today were in times gone by someone's pride and joy, now just worn out hoks but I like'm, I wish they could talk. Wonder how many chaws of dark fried twist they've cut.

For Stag Saturday I carried a Case Eisenhower to the CSG reunion in Raleigh. Never used it and never noticed that it was in my pocket. Nice stag handles you have there Tsar. OH

1-dot SG63047 and an old Pal official Scout knife with no bail and lotsa miles but tight with a relatively full blade and some neat old bones. Gonna take a soft toothbrush, some soapy water and (on the metal) a couple fine grit papers to it this week to see if I can bring those bones n bolsters back a little bit.
