As the owner of a 1047 (Boy Scout Whittler; same as 72 pattern), it is one of my favorite EDC patterns. Oddly enough, I find myself using the small clip on this knife the most. It's a great profile for pretty much everything. As opposed to the spey blade on my Stockmen; which rarely get used, if at all.

I bought two of these and they FINALLY arrived today. (13 days in transit)

Heh heh heh you know it buddy. I ordered some last fall and it took 2 or 3 days, 24 hours is good.

NICE knives everyone.

I just picked up this knife at the post office. It's one of the Imperial, "HECHO EN MEXICO" style of pocket knives. It has a "Moose Head"(?) on the handles. That qualifies it for the zoo also. If there was a tang stamp, it isn't there now. Per jxr1197 (Jason), it is definitely one of the Imperial "HECHO EN MEXICO" style of pocket knives. It needed some minor cleaning. I took pictures and here it is. Again, sorry for the quality of the pictures, my camera is acting up.

That is a very visually interesting addition to your zoo.

This little Chinese made copy of the 1047 arrived today. Except for the blade grinds it is actually a pretty knice knife. More pics in the 72 clones thread. Thanks for looking.

This ole Colonial melon tester is sweet, looks like it came of the assembly line yestiddy. Ole Camco has seen better days but it's sweet in it's on way.

bh I always like the old melon testers. As a kid we would stop by a fruit stand beside the road and the seller would always 'plug' it before you bought it to guarantee that it was good. I don't have a use for one but I still like them. Congrats.

Tom shipped my LF&C Jackknife from Cosgrove Cutlery this week - it came yesterday. Very nice action on this old Jackknife - fine W&T and a first LF&C for my collection. OH

Finding knives locally has pretty much stopped,so I am searching ebay for some knives to fill a few display cases that have been sitting empty for a while.
Picked up this Imitation stag Camco and will look for other colorful handled knives to fill the display.
