It's ~Q~. ~Q~'s cornered the market. He's left some slim pickin's for the rest of us.

I've been away for a little while, you folks have been putting up some really nice knives there! Wanted to share my new Queen that arrived yesterday, slightly smaller than the last one I put up
That's a nice lookin' Queen!
Have you figured out what pattern it is? What is the length of this one? The tang stamp looks like a '45-'48 best I can tell.
Treefarmer
Appreciate that, and funny you should ask... I've got a guess but maybe you can confirm.
It measures 2 1/2 inches, that and the tang stamp maybe indicates a #6, Queen, senator pen??
Lol... I've been wrong before

Gone2Three,
According to the 1947 Queen catalog, Catalog No. 82, your knife appears to be a pattern #5, same as a #6 except for handle material. The #6 is described in the 1947 catalog as having Genuine Mother of Pearl handles, the #5 has Genuine bone stag (which is not really stag as we know it today).
I'll say again that is a fine little Queen!

Lol, Thanks Treefarmer... as usual you've come through with the identification!... I'm always a day late and a dollar short
Appreciate your time and looking forward to sharing with the group again

Nice knives everyone.
I picked this up at the post office this morning. An Imperial, 2 blade, "Longhorn Steer" pocket knife. It will fit in the zoo nicely. It received a mild cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

Nice addition Skip! ... but I'm from Texas, so that's a biased opinion

Well, I thought I had purchased a Winchester as it was listed, pictures were a little blurry and I really don't know my knives very well to identify by sight. After cleaning up it's a Western knife... anyone here tell me what year I have here?...stamp on back 691. Is this better or worse than a Winchester?
Thanks for looking

Thank you. I do not have any knowledge about your knife, but it is a VERY good looking knife. I really like the handles.

A couple of oddballs this week. Never heard of them before, but found them and they were cheap enough to take a chance to play with.
"Sarge", a brand I know nothing about other than one came from Amazon, the other Ebay and it was still under $40 for the pair.

Interesting! Are they EDC's? If so, let us know how you like them in a few weeks.

Just got this Case Brothers English jack in the mail. 4 1/2 inches closed and some stout snap. Not bad for a 110 year old knife.

"Not bad" may qualify as the understatement of the year. I think it is a positively awesome catch.

Greg that’s a great Case knife. It would be interesting to know all about the places that knife has been for all these years.
Got another Dr’s knife in today. Marbles by Northwood’s Dave Shirley. Red stag bone.

Lol... thank you both

I think I'll keep it although it's not exactly what I thought was coming. Seems like a decent knife for the price
