Dom and Bull Moose in the pockets today (sounds like the name of a Canadian sitcom, eh? )
That polished NF carbon steel can really unleash a rainbow of colors...I like using this knife just to see what colors it turns.

Thanks! Yep, a pocket fixed blade, Paul makes the sheath with a belt loop or pocket clip.

TB, that Dom is a great looking knife. Those always catch my eye but haven't pulled the string yet. I like the idea of the Canadian sit-com.

Montana that mammoth is beautiful! looks like a nice pair of slabs for .45 grips under the folder. You sure have a great eye for great looking knives.

Paul it is a 890 with a pen blade instead of a spey blade.

Nice. You don't see schrade walden 890's too often with a pen blade instead of the spey, that was more common on the schrade cut co version.

Thanks doglegg! The Lionsteel Barlows are all pretty great, though I was a little disappointed with the "rough cut" ram's horn from the first run of spearpoint knives. I love the carbon fiber handles, however, and the Dom is a well-constructed and very, very smooth knife.

Anything and everything, I-Man, thanks! The polished GEC steel seems to get some amazing indigos and even some greens with citric acid, as they see a decent amount of oranges, lemons, pasta sauce (tomatos), plus apples and the occasional sandwich which needs a-slicin'. The long spear also gets some garden and household cutting done but that's mostly dry and doesn't often react with the steel.

Wow Paul, I haven't seen St Bruno in years! I used to smoke Capstan Medium Flake when it was still made by Imperial Tobacco. I usually smoked a medium Comoy or GBD straight billiard shape pipe.

I quit smoking my pipes when I could no longer get Capstan here in the states.
I use to have near 100 nice smoking briar pipes. I have sold and traded some but still have my prized Comoy Blue Ribon.
I also frequently carried a Sheffield tool as well.

The only people more esoteric than knife collectors are pipe collectors!

Hi Dale ,glad this brought up nice memories I'm still new to pipe smoking but always wanted to give it a try ,some friends sent me some pipes and tobbaco and St Bruno is my favourite so far,I smoked cigars for years but there too expensive for me these days so this is a much cooler alternative

I am heading to the rocky mountains for vacation, and this is the main carry that I chose. I don't think I'll be wanting for other knives with this in my pocket

zed and big-H had me encouraged but after they posted y'all put my 2 Delrin blades to shame with a procession of bone and stag beauties. That Walden stockman is a stunner. Seeing as it's stag Saturday I figured I had to up my game a notch. One problem: garbage weather from sunrise to early evening. So here's a photo from a few months ago, I couldn't do any better with lighting conditions as they are today.
