Nice knives being carried fellas, I enjoy seeing the pics daily. ::tu::

Here are the combos I've packed since Monday. Klass stag whittler, S&M rosewood jack and a Robeson jigged bone pen.

Beautiful Klass, Greg, Robert Klass is still in business and make excellent knives. I wish they were easier to purchase in the US.

Taking my daughter fly fishing today, these two are with me,

James Behring Jr. B & T, forged O1, Sambar stag and musk ox spacer, sheath by Claude Scott with beaver tail inlay. #759 from Todd Davison in Sambar stag

Impossible so many beautiful knives being carried and enjoyed. But I guess that's their purpose.

I maintain the knives and sheaths after use and they tend to keep their looks. I don't beat on my knives and only use them for there intended purpose. A little Formbys for stag and wood, some Ren wax for longer term storage, butcher block oil for carbon blades and damascus. I use Oakwood products for my leather. I would not get as much enjoyment from them if they sat to look at, and I don't spend the money on them to look at.

IMan, that is sweet. Do you have the hemlock green version? Just curious as I’m looking to buy either one. Tuff decision to make ::shrug::
Thank you my friend![/quote]
I ruminated on that very choice, I like the Hemlock green, but had some on another pattern. Never had jigging like this one, brings out the color, and to me it's easier to mod blades when they are satin. I ground the spey down to a drop point so it's tainted. By the way, really like the color on that 78 you posted two pages back.

Thanks Kris. I like the Klass, it has some heavy pitting on the back springs but is a good solid knife with some mean snap to the blades.
I hope ya keep posting pics of your knives, all of 'em have been spectacular and I keep looking back thru the pages and admiring those beauties.

Thanks! The 78 is a great knife. I just ordered 66 in the autumn bone. Going to be a great knife to use. Stockmen, cattleman, Congress are all great patterns. ::tu::

BH, that canoe from yesterday rises to the top of a great looking group of knives. It is fancy. And that takes nothing away from the rest, yellow's included.

Indeed you do. Some years ago Dale [Orvet] took this Camillus blade, then worked his magic on the handle including a file worked spine. It is a very hand friendly and efficient carry knife; a favorite.

I-man I cut open a pack of chicken hotdogs with it, and cut them into lengths that the neighborhood dog loves to catch and it did a yeoman's job. After weed eating and pulling some weeds one of them little blades clean the dirt out from under my fingernails just fine. It seems to be a well put together cheap knife, and at almost 4 inches it a nice size.imho.
