I picked up this old imperial for $9 and it came in yesterday. Cleaned it up and sharpened it and am carrying it for now.

Almost every time I pulled this out while on camping vacation it garnered a compliment. Love the bone and jigging and the sheep foot is my box cutter, the clip my slicer. Drop point doesn't get much action but I look for chances to use it. Gets better with age.

Paul I dare say that's the best $9 you've ever spent. That's a knife with excellent blade steel that will take and keep a great edge.

Really liking this one

Today I am carrying this Remington Jack R112 that I bought at a gunshow a few years back for $3. The original black composition handles were broken and missing pieces, so it got rehandled in curly maple. It has steel rat tailed bolsters. This knife has the loudest snap of any knife I own, thunderous!

OC obviously, it is possible to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. That looks knice.
