They both came today. One was quick and got here earlier than expected. The other one took much more time than expected. I guess I'm just a bit impatient at times (or most of the time). Well, at least the waiting is over and they're here.

Took some better pictures this morning (at least I think they are better)

Lately I have been seeing some really sharp looking RR knives. That one is exceptional Jerry. The Case knife is a beauty too, love that barn board jigging.

Today's early journey to the post office produced these three pocket knives. A German pen/gentleman's knife. The pen knife came as part of a two knife lot. It came with a Camillus, WHAT-A-KNIFE. The third knife is another Schrade 863 "whittler." The tang stamp on the German pen knife reads, JULANCO (over) SOLINGEN (over) GERMANY. None of the three needed any cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

The Post Rider was here again and brought me some knives.
In the first picture is an inexpensive wrench knife, everyone
has seen them on ebay. I got this one as a gag gift for the
neighbor across the road. He is always working on a race car
but I never see him take it anywhere. The other two are just
fob knives I need to do a little research on.

Okay, just for Willy these are the RR's that we were talking about
in the "It's in the mail" thread. So now I have some great
Rough Rider Knives.

You will like these 4 Jerry. Got 4 more Coleman knives made in Seki Japan around 1990. The blue on these is so dark and rich.

Here's my latest pickups. From Mark (Sharpnshinyknives), from 2012, 22 of 25 (documented), GEC #62 jigged autumn bone ……. ::super_happy:: .
From trip to Brandon MB gun show. 2018 (Umarex) Glock 19 .177 co2 air pistol. Excellent quality, accurate, and powerful pistol. 15 round mag (nowhere big enough ). So far I run close to 9 clips through it, 8 on full power, last one fired out co2. Fun, fun, fun! With no recoil to speak of, but super loud! You could easily mistake it for a real Glock any day ::super_happy:: .
That's all I got for now.
Willy :D
Merry Christmas!
Thanks Willy, that GEC is gorgeous by the way.

The Winchester Lockback with Burl handles.
The AAPK ball cap and T-Shirt are perfect fits. I'm a hat guy and
I've lost count of how many I have, but I know I will be wearing
this one. ::groove::

I like that AAPK hat, got to get me one of those.
Saw this knife made by Master Hiro for sale on Ebay the other day. Just couldn’t resist it. It’s called a Zipangu, which is another name for Japan, it’s a long story. Handles are aluminum. The mark side has aluminum shaped in this bubble like contour w/ laminated enamel depicting the scene. The backside is just anodized aluminum w/ the pocket clip. Blade is VG-10 San Mai. Has a linerlock. The blade is a work of art itself, which is what Mr Hiro is known for.

Well that is certainly another show stopper Mark. Great acquisition. The blade is....sensual. I think the entire knife must have been made in a Japanese Tea House overlooking a Zen garden. :)

Thanks Garry. Here is my other Japanese knife w/ Mt Fuji. It’s actually a chef’s knife. This is the most expensive knife I have in my collection. The wooden scabbard is hand painted w/ Mt Fuji and it’s hand painted on the knife handle as well. The thing I like the most is the rainbow Damascus they used on the blade. Layers of different metals of different colors, it’s simply stunning. This is not a new knife for me, it’s actually from about 5 years ago, but just thought I would share it w/ the other one.

Finally received the Mini Copperlock that was on backorder at SMKW. Does anyone else find it ironic that in order to get this knife out of the clamshell pack, you need to use a knife? ::hmm::

This arrived today, a single blade, ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, NEWBURGH, N.Y. (1917-1925), pocket knife. I gave it a quick, mild cleaning, took a couple of pictures and here it is.

I'm going to post this in several threads so stand by. Today the Post Rider in Ponder Country brought me this new single blade VENTURE Jack Knife by H.M. Slater of Sheffield, England for my collection. ::ds::

I know nothing of this brand, this is my first one, but what I can tell you is, I bought it from a fellow Texan, a fellow AAPK member, a friend and all around good guy, Ray (Paladin). ::handshake:: The pictures don't do this knife justice. In my hand it is a perfect 3 5/8" when closed; supports a very well defined stag handle with rich colors and a distinctive pattern; and the bolsters are definitely noticeable over all other types. The blade when opened and closed is very tight and the snap when closed is perfection. This knife offers any owner years of dependable service. Please visit SWEETWATER KNIVES (Paladin) at the AAPK stores, Ray has several more of these beautiful quality knives just waiting for you at a price you can afford.

This completes my advertisement for Sweetwater Knives and to the administrators of AAPK I swear Ray is not giving me a "kick back." ::uc::
