Stainless is what this turned out to be even though it was sold as 1095 by a long time dealer who should know. Hmmm. Thought it was 1095 until I sharpened it. Definitely not. The tube with the Squirrels and the acorn shield and Cyclops tang stamp should have tipped me off.

Just a little China Buck I got in a Gift tin at Christmas. Sorry I'm not getting good pictures. It's a good made little knife. The only fault I can find is the blade grind is a little off. But it's a sharp little bugger.

Today it's the new #15 Boys knife by GEC. Bail and chain too! This is a real nice EDC, Very slim, being that it has the one spear point blade and excellent snap at all positions. It was a little stiff when I first opened it yesterday, but after working it in, gun scrubber spray and my trusty QR oil, it's now like an instant old friend!

Thanks Paul it's some sweet winterbottom bone a little whiter than some. Etch only, I'm guessing early 60's could be later in the etch only run either way it got some age on her.
