I am a Miracle Whip fan. I eat it on everything. Eggs, sweet peas, sandwiches, crackers even as a dip for chips. I had seen these before and wanted one so when a couple popped in DOBBINSVILLE NC USA (Wayned) store I ordered one. The tang stamp is SCHRADE NY USA. # IS SS778. And as always it came in one of the pouches the Misses makes.

Nice anniversary/advertising knife you have there Floyd. I too am a Miracle Whip fan. Mainly as my sandwich topping, but I really like it as a go-with for my french fries. Try dipping bacon in it also.

I knew there was something I like about you two. Miracle Whip forever!!!!!
Floyd, those are nice little knives and a great thing to collect since the year is never in doubt and there are only ten (I'm pretty sure) to get.
Edit: Oh yeah and they're usually in factory condition and they usually come pretty cheap (under $20).

Very nice Jerry! There's about 4 or 5 of them on eBay right now. It looks like they "celebrated" every 5 years, but they started out with a 4th anniversary knife and there's no 10th anniversary knife. I'm not going to start collecting these knives or am I.........

My NOS Craftsman ACA 95024 arrived Tuesday. It was advertised on eBay as NOS - when I opened it up it was FILTHY and had barely audible snap. It looked so much like an old Buck 303 (minus one blade) that I used the old Buck Knife trick for soft snap - scalding water and dawn detergent (scrubbed my ceramic sticks at the same time). Squirted the joints full of Zero Friction oil and left it on a towel to dry all day. It dried up, cleaned up, and snapped up - sounds like my Schrade USA 34OT now - snappy with good walk and talk. Carried it today and I think it will make a good EDC - got the right two blades. OH

This Schatt & Morgan Pen knife has covers of abalone shell. I found it very difficult to photograph in a way that would show the deep and brilliant colors of this knife. Maybe you can take my word for it.

The F&F are excellent. A fine example of craftsmanship imho.

Nice knives everyone!
Today my trip to the post office produced these two pocket knives. Another Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire handle knife and another Allen Cutlery Company, all steel, 2 blades, jack knife. Both received a cleaning. These are MY pictures. Click on a picture to ENLARGE.

New pickups from second hand store yestertidy, knife and not knife related.
First up:
Brand new Zwilling J.A. Henckels Germany, Twin Man, ***** Five Star Friodur Ice Hardened 6" Chefs and 8" Bread knives. It's been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember to own these kind of Henckel kitchen knives. They are the very best kitchen knives in the world, that us mere mortals only need. Incredibly I stumbled across these 2 in our Value Village for $5 a piece

. Man that was the deal of the month!
Now I just need to keep watch for more of the set

. We are not talking chunk change, these are very expensive knives here in Canada (or anywhere else for that matter!). Every detail sets them apart from other kitchen knives, but the steel chemistry and blade hardening process is what sets them apart from the rest. J.A. was the first knife company to figure out the process for this kind of blade hardening. It's still a closely guarded secret from the last time I looked. Pretty much every other knife company since then has tried to replicate the process since then. Same thing with the pocket knives they used to produce, benchmark of the industry as you all know. Yes, Henckels set the standards for high end steel making to this day.
Sorry for the long winded speech on kitchen knives

. I just am super excited with this purchase, all for the price of a couple of tims coffees.
Second:
Picked up from the same store a special edition of the "Crusade In The Pacific" & "Pacific Warriors" documentaries, all for the price of a "Big Angus" meal, 8 bucks!
Can't wait to dig into it!
2 more pickups:
Brand new DVD tower and CD tower for $7 and $5 respectively

.
And finally: Because I have a very strong Ukrainian heritage, I picked up a very unique Ukrainian pickle dish. I've seen LOTS of Ukr. dishes over the years, but never this one. Add to the collection for $6, how could I go wrong!
Second hand/pawn/classifieds save a person a boat load of money! Forget about amazon, stick with cheap

.
Who knows what i'll run across next ….
And VERY nice Case you got there Lansky! Me like some gnarly stag too

.
