Yup some dandy goods. Think the razor handle is French Ivory celluloid or similar man made material. The OVB ruler is a neat and uncommon item.

Also, I looked at that pile of poo I was about to box up and I just felt guilty. I added that one last minute as an "air freshener" if you will.

I got this great bunch of stuff from “Treefarmer” (Philip). He’s apparently another one of the guys who didn’t get definition of the “S” in POS! I received an assortment of restorable and useful knives and pocket tools.

I’m fairly new to the knife collecting hobby, so this is more stuff than I would normally find in a month of searching local flea markets and pawn shops. I couldn’t believe the quantity, and the quality, of the shipment.

I owe my new friend “Bladebuddy” an apology for unloading pure POS on him this year, but I’ll try to make up for it next time.

In the meantime, got to get to work cleaning and sharpening….

My load from buddyie22. The SKOAL tobacco branded barehead Jack and the little no name lock back are solid little units, and will make fine work bench / tackle box knives.

The “gem” for me is the Camco Barlow that fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. I’m a sucker for hard luck knives. I’m going to clean this ugly duckling up, put fresh edges on the blades, and carry it, just because I can. It will be a great conversation piece!

The secret agent

Orvet has struck again! Dale passed on some interesting "stuff" in his contribution to the 2024 POS Exchange. Identifying the pile of poo from the top down and left to right:
On tiop a Queen #20, 1972, well used with a cracked handle on mark side.
Under it a Queen BO-6 doesn't seem to fit the POS idea.
The large knife is Russell Green River blank that Dale put together, a user for sure!

On the first multiple line, a wooden handled single blade, 1/2 stop that will bite you, marked only DIR.
The 2nd knife is another wood handled single blade advertising knife made I believe by or for Shapleigh Hardware St. Louis, advertising some brand of shoes. Still trying to decipher the faint letters embossed in the wood.
The 3rd is a Hammer Brand shell 2 blade.

2nd row begins with a Ka-bar 2501, decent knife, except for the HONGKONG stamp that automatically secures a POS rating.
Next to the Ka-bar is a fine POS, an Imperial camp/scout shell handled knife missing the bail.
3rd knife on 2nd row is another Hammer Brand, it's a "wanna' be Camillus 72", with Delrin handles. Certainly doesn't fit the POS description, decent knife.

3rd row begins with a military knife, stamped U.S.MARINE CORPS, it is missing the bail, the main blade, a spear can't be accessed until you open the screwdriver/bottle opener. It would be a real POS except is is a USMC knife. Semper Fi. Bro Dale!
A decent small sockman, a Purina advertising knife, is in excellent condition except someone has ground the tang stamp off.
The last knife on the 3rd line is an Imperial metal frame BSA single blade made by Imperial. It has already been presented to the local Scoutmaster!

Bottom row has a Bear & Sons USA metal framed/handle lockback shaped similar to a Case Sodbuster, another knife that doesn't deserve a POS rank.
The center knife on the bottom row has no stamp but is a slanted bolster serpentine jack, another decent knife.
The last on is a new RR (has the Ryder not Rider) on the shield, it is called a Coal Miner #RR1284. similar to a Case 6217.
