I have an affinity for celluloid. No other synthetic handle material quite matches it’s vibrancy.

A couple of recent adds - top knife is Keen Kutter and Jaeger Bros below. I had a close friend from Marinette, so it was good to get my first Jaeger. Thanks to Roger!

Those have some beautiful celluloid! Modern plastics are good, but they cannot hold a candle to the intricate style of good celluloid!

I looked for a while to get one as well. I drive through Marinette often.

Apparently after Aerial cutlery closed in 44 there was a group of 2600 knives that sat in storage for 30 years then hit the market NOS in 74. A big group of pen knives hit the bay a while ago, about 100 all NOS All stamped Aerial. I found this at the Badger knife show back in February. There was another with cell identical to yours that I wanted desperately, but I had already maxed my budget and then some. And then just a tiny more.

But this one came home with me. I like that it's Jaeger Bro's, its the cooler stamp imo. ::tu::

I wouldn't call mine eye candy, but it probably was 80 ish years ago ::shrug::

That Aerial tool kit knife is dope. I didn't know they made one. I was just talking to Waukonda here about Aerial. I was in Marinette just yesterday hitting the garage and estate sale circuit looking for anything Aerial or Jaeger Bro's. Came up with nothing. Like usual. I asked about Aerial knives at a local antique store, and they didn't even know the name or that knives had been made in their town ::dang:: ::facepalm::

Beauties, really like the Remington. Can't quite make out the time period and subject matter depicted on the Novelty?
