This Imperial "Longhorn Steer Head" arrived today. My latest acquisition for the zoo. It has 2 blades, with the main blade having a wonda edge. It received a minor cleaning, pictures were taken and here it is.

This knife should be officially joining the zoo in a few days. This is MY first NON deer, steer or moose head knife that I've posted here. It's a Camillus 72, 3 blade (DUCKS etched on main blade), swelled center, black bone handles, "whittler" pocket knife. I now have two thirds of the Camillus 72, "black bone handles" trio. It appears to be in fantastic shape and won't need any cleaning at all. When I receive it, pictures will be taken and posted in the appropriate location(s).

Beautiful knives everyone!! Here is an Imperial deer head and a Case XX U.S.A. Kodiak..I bought both at a community yard sale in Seville, Ohio. They have it every year and it is a nice little town and everybody sets up and there’s lots of good finds no matter what you collect. It’s worth the trip (we drive 3 1/2 hours every year to go) If you’re not too far away.

Today the zoo gains these two new (to me) arrivals. Both are Imperial "Deer Head" pocket knives.
A special THANK YOU goes out to AAPK member Stanwade for selling me one of them (the 2 blade knife).
Neither required any special treatment. I took pictures and here they are.

Today, the latest addition to the zoo arrived. Another Imperial "Deer Head" camping/scouting style pocket knife. I gave it a cleaning, took some pictures and here it is.
Where are you guys finding those Imperials? In all the flea markets and antique stores I've been in around here in Texas and on my road trips I have never seen one of those. I guess I need to just look online if I really want one.

All of them (mine), except for one, were found on eBay.

Sadly enough, I bought this camping knife just so that I could post it here. (Plus, it was only $5!)
The only mark is "Rostfrei", so at first I thought that it might be Getman-made, but it feels so light and cheaply made that it may be of Asian origin, made for the European market. It has plastic scales pressed onto thin stainless liners - it be a "tourist" knife.
I really know nothing about the knife, I am just guessing. But, it is a cute little knife for the money!

- Mark side

- Pile side

Last night I bought this unbranded, "deer head", "camping" style, multi-blade/tool pocket knife. It's not my usual Imperial "animal head" style knife, but it will make a welcomed addition to the zoo. There's nothing special about it. The looks and the price said "buy me", so I did. When I receive it, it'll get the once over. It looks to be in fantastic condition. I'll take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s).
