Big Knife Mark.. You know.. There is just something about this knife.. ::hmm:: You know I am a car guy and that knife screams.. Fast and Sexy!!! Yeah.. I LIKE it!!! ::tu:: ::ds:: ::tu::

Thanks John, it really is a sleek feel good in the hand knife! With your newfound appreciation for you new Boker Kal you jus' might want to consider getting one of these. It fires incredibly hard and always locks-up tight. You're looking at about 3x what your Kal runs but IMHO it's worth every dime of that! Somethin' to think about! 8)

This Böker Solingen two blade pen knife was a Christmas gift from my wife. ::super_happy:: It's kinda looks carried on the bolsters but looks uncarried & unused on the handles & blades & came without a box. It has some really beautiful smooth brown bone handles! A very nice looking knife IMO. ::nod:: Not really sure if I should EDC it or not. ::hmm:: For now it's in my showcase. ::tu::

Edit: My sweatheart (Schatz) says I should carry it so I guess it's my newest EDC now. My EDC's never have to do any hard work anyways. The just open mail, boxes, dog food bags, coal bags, cut strings for the garden or 550 cord for lanyards ect. ::super_happy:: ::tu::

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake:: :D

I’m fond of stag, and since Boker has basically ceased production of the traditional patterns in Solingen, I’ve been looking to get their Pony stockman, medium stockman and large stockman. I finally got a large Boker stockman in stag to complete the trio. The Pony and medium stockman are in Boker’s excellent C75. The large one has the most beautiful stag out of the trio. My poor attempts at photography don’t do it justice. Boker always does a good heat treatment on their stainless steels in my opinion, so the 440C was a nice change. The shield had their special anniversary with 1869 and 1994. I graduated from high school in 1994, so that was kind of cool as well.
Thanks for looking, stay safe everyone!
Phil

I found myself a model 85 this morning.
These are the sellers pics.....

The tang stamp pic on the pile side is a little blurry.

It looks like a pretty nice knife.

Got myself today this Böker Solingen Kalashnikov All Black, handmade in Solingen, before been just Plus brand models. Limited edition number 045. Its such a nice piece to hold and you feel it's made with care.

Edit. Sorry didn't notice this was under "USA made knives forum" but well its a Böker anyways I hope thats good.

I dont understand it either, very hard to find info of this All Black, and I dont find it on sale anymore, I bought the last from my local store. model number is 11KAL45AB which gives almost only some russian sites, and then there is this same with wooden pieces on the side instead of G-10, it's product number is 11KAL45B.

And yeah their Kalashnikov lineup is very confusing, there is knives from 40e to 300e with that on the blade I think.

Today I had this beauty on me, Urban Trapper Tanto, really opposite of the kalashnikov, so light and easy to flip open compared to big aluminium handle kalashikov which is really sturdy and you can feel the weight. Which is also nice.

Very nice Dam! ::tu:: At first look I'd have guessed a Brad Zinker build unless he's affiliated with Boker and it is one of his cuz his builds look very much like your knife. ::shrug:: I really like the holed frame and tanto blade! 8)

You know what, I looked into it and Brad Zinker has designed lots of knives for Böker+, this also. Good eyes! The handle is titanium + holes so its very light and durable. And it weights 1.69oz / 49 grams.

My brain might not agree with your assessment of my eyes Dam, but thanks anyway! The reason your knife looked so familiar to me is because I browse www.arizonacustomknives.com everyday and there are always lots of Brad Zinker models listed so I spot them immediately. Enjoy your new knife! 8)

Boker 89 Ceramic. I've never used it for anything because I've read the blade are brittle and chip easily. Its a very light weight knife though

That's a fine lookin' knife P80, but I'm with you on using it! ::handshake:: Just hearing the word "ceramic" in the same sentence as "the blade on a knife" makes me cringe! ::facepalm:: Knife blades are suppose to be STEEL! 8)

I just purchased a small box of knives to work on. In the bottom of the box, I found this Boker. rusted shut I did not know what it was untill I oiled it and got the blades open. I am a very happy guy. ::ds::
