I got a nice old single spring Improve Muskrat Schrade Walden knife .

Picked up this High Carbon Steel USA which I think was made by Camillus 1930's to 40's for Sears. Close to mint with beautiful bone.

Here's a XX era (1940-65) 53047. I've had it for several years but there's always been something about it that doesn't seem quite right.The scales look like it's had a ton of pocket time but the blades are near mint. What do you Guys think?

Just reading back through this thread and realized I hadn't posted any old Stockmans. These 2 are pictured as my avatar. They are both Queen #49s, they have the 1958-60 tang stamp, both are handled with real Winterbottom bone, one has been used just a little more than the other.

This Cattaraugus just came in. 3 7/8 inches. It is somewhat tired, but the pearl is PERFECT. I am liking this old one.

Well I've posted these in the brand specific forums before... but I think they'll get more views here & perhaps a little more appreciation too....
First one is my favorite .... despite all the spit n polish.... its an 80+ year old Schrade Cutlery Co described in their catalog as a "Premium Stockman" № 8803G


....and here it is again with its direct successor.... a 2013 Canal Street Cutlery Stockman made for A.G.Russell №34 of 200. Sorry to those just looking for oldies.... but I like showing these two together.

I just posted these over on the Parker forum.... but they are probably the most patriotic Stockmans around.... made by Schrade for Parker's "Founding Fathers" bicentennial series as each knife is named for: George Washington [cream], John Adams [blue], Thomas Jefferson [green], Patrick Henry [white], Nathan Hale [red]


.... and another Parker / Schrade venture during the bicentennial was the Thirteen Colonies series.... I only have one so far....

Been scrolling through this thread again, enjoying all the wonderful pictures. Makes one proud to carry a Stockman's Knife! Here is a 1950's Junior Cattle Knife I found in Fort Worth TX earlier this year - it gets a lot of carry (alternates with my 1981 Case 6318). OH

Would this be consider a stockman?.... is there a name for this type of style?.... What would you call this one?
It is a construction design I have not seen before or since.... Stamped "Wallkill River Works / Walden"....
considered an economy line made by New York Knife Co. between 1928 - 1931.
