Yesterday afternoon this joined my collection. It is a CAMILLUS (1047), 3 blades, a swelled center, white handles, a long line tang stamp, no pattern # stamp, 3 5/8" closed, Boy Scout "whittler" pocket knife. This is only my second CAMILLUS (1047) that has white handles. It did need some very minor cleaning. But more importantly, there are NO CRACKS anywhere on the handles. I took some pictures and here it is.

Nice addition to your Collection Skip ::tu:: ::tu::
This one is getting harder to find in decent shape. And no cracks in the covers by the pins ,even harder to find .
Stay safe out there ::handshake::

Two of the blades have minor issues.
But, considering what I paid for it, I do not have any complaints.

Picked this one up from one of our AAPK members yesterday. It's a beautiful middle size pocket knife
with rich bone color. Very tight with a lot of snap still in it.

The latest version of the #1885 knife by Camillus.

It seems to me that the marking stamp had excessive wear.

Vit, Great seeing you here and posting . Nice #1885 ::tu:: ::tu::
You think the stamp itself was wore out ? That would explain why your tang stamp looks like that . Very interesting.
