I recently acquired this single blade Dunlap 9485 hawkbill, 4 inches overall closed, with black composition handles. My understanding is these were Camillus made, sold by Sears from 1938-1942.

Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my first example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did not purchase the group or lot for this particular pocket knife. But, I was very surprised and quite pleased to find it among the group or lot of pocket knives. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a POWR-KRAFT, three blades, one tool (a punch or awl), one tang stamp, 3 7/8" closed, two springs, pocket knife. The main blade back tang stamp says, "POWR-KRAFT (over) USA" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade does NOT have an opening snap. The secondary blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The third blade does have a WEAK half stop. The third blade does have an OK opening snap. The third blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The tool opens and closes properly. POWR-KRAFT brand, made for MONTGOMERY WARD, by CAMILLUS. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. I did have to give it a very minor cleaning.

I picked up this one last weekend for a few bucks. I have not seen a Wards Jack like this with all steel construction. Is it original?

Very recently, this camping/scouting, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example, possibly my first example, to be posted under this topic or thread. I did not purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it definitely did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a WARDS, one blade, four tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener with a screwdriver tip, a can opener, and a punch or awl), one tang stamp, 3 5/8" closed, a long main blade pull, two springs, camping/scouting, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "WARDS (over) MADE IN USA" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have an OK closing snap. ALL tools open and close properly, without problems. Over the years, the main blade seems to have lost a little bit of its width. Overall, this pocket knife is still in GOOD condition. It still has life in it. I did give it a very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
