My tomatoes this seem to be all foliage this year so far. Lots of hot weather out here too. I picked the first small tomato yesterday. Peppers are almost ready. Salsa soon I hope!
So far we have made strawberry & raspberry freezer jam.
Canning peaches will start soon then pears.
Somewhere in there will be apples. I planted a gravenstein apple tree 7 years ago and we should get some applesauce from them this year.
Since we live in town, we have to buy most of our produce to can, the yard is not big enough for a big garden & I am too crippled to take care of a big one!
We will make a trip to the coast for some tuna when the boats come in with tuna.
Nothin' like home canned tuna. Makes the canned tuna in the store look & taste like bad cat food!

I too have enjoyed this thread without contributing anything this season. Mainly that is because I have not done much harvesting this year. I have had some blueberries and a few figs. The birds have and are ravaging my figs: some years I net my trees, some years I do not. This year I just let it go and the birds have feasted.

This jungle is tomatoes in the back and peppers in the front.
This little ornamental pepper is LOADED. Little buggers are hotter than Hades.
We've picked some bell peppers.
And some Jalapenos.
Plenty of tomatoes but no ripe ones yet. 1st of August????????
I planted Big Pink again this year and the plant is huge and has several tomatoes hiding in there, waiting to ripen.

The Big Pink is mine. All the other stuff was put in and is tended by my son. I'm not much on gardening.

Hey nice fatwood harvest Scott, that definitely counts!
Dan those figs look really intriguing to me, bet they are tasty. I hate to admit it, but my experience with figs is primarily limited to to the Newton variety!
Dale, peaches are some of my favorites, and that fresh canned tuna sounds like a winner, can't say as I've ever tried it...
Jerry, that big Pink looks like it's primed to produce some plumpers all at once...that's usually the way that works...

A couple more lemon cukes and a few yellow beans...unfortunately the bean plants are kind of stunted, so only a few to harvest at time. Tasty though.

Well I suppose I could choke it down if I had to and had enough milk or other liquid to wash the taste out of my mouth.

Well Jerry, you know where I stand on the annual Miracle Whip vs. Real mayo debate, but I must say that is a fine looking tomato there, congrats on the first one of the year! Mine are all still green except for a few of the cherry varieties. I am pretty excited that my ghost peppers are coming in strong and it looks like I should be able to harvest a few here soon! This is my first time growing them....I am impressed with how "ghoulish" they are looking !
Still harvesting carrots, onions and yellow beans too...
