Lyle: It is the larger one. Big ol' whittler that's 4.25" closed. Do you still have that red handled whittler with the punch?

Roger, I like stamped blades even more than a simple etch. It cost more and was more permanent, a sure sign of a quality made knife. Thanks for showing them! :D

Yes RR ,it's this pattern and your thread(farmers jacks) that put me on my quest. :D

I was looking for the big whittlers when I found a farmers jack(I thought the first farmers jack I saw on eBay was a big whittler :) )Then your thread, and as is said ,the rest so far is history.Keep in touch.

This is a German made knife with the stamp SPI inside a diamond.The blade is stamped Emerald Leaf Jewel Foliage Co.

ALL very nice knives Roger. The etch on your Boker easy opener is one that is rarely seen. Great bunch of knives!

Congrats. They are all keepers. ::tu:: I thought I was going to be able to make Parker's show, but unfortunately work interfered with my knife show plans. Hopefully, I can make the next one.

Some great etched knives here lately.

Here's a Wimberly - Thomas Hardware, a Birmingham jobbing firm in business 1904 to 1944.

It has their "ALABAMA" etched logo.
