Picked up this Fox Cutlery Co large dog-leg, really a well made knife with ebony that has some faint brown streaks in it. I can find next to nothing about Fox other than they were in Wisconsin and may date back to the 1800's. I don't think they made their knives and most came from Germany. This one is not marked Germany and is very similar to my Ulsters.

This pattern is really starting to grow on me. Pictured is a Cocobolo Keen Kutter, a worm-grooved bone Cattaraugus, an Ebony Ulster and an Ebony Keen Kutter. I can't understand why no one is making them like this anymore? ::shrug:: Classic in my opinion. 😎

Thank you all for the nice comments, 1967redrider I do think they were both made by Winchester and due to the hammered pins probably close to the same time. Both knives have brass liners only difference is the KK has steel pins and Winchester has brass.

This sweet little 3" MOP dogleg showed up today. I can find no information on the maker, Wm Bartlett & Sons, Goins has a Wm Bartlett with dates 1880 to 1910 but there is zero information out there. I suspect Sheffield but not marked with any country. Other than the cracked front cover its in decent shape for its age, still tight with very good snap.
