Very Nice model 7 TR& Knife7knut! BTW for you guys that don't know, the numbers on the back of the sheath 7 5, stand for "model 7, 5 inch blade" Maybe everyone knows that, just thought I would throw that in. I like Randalls just wish they weren't so high priced and took so long to get one from the factory.

That Marbles DeWeese is awesome...
Nice looking Randall's guys..

..going off the spacer stacks those date 1958 to 72.
Leather handles had 'three thick, two thin' stack. Stag and other's had 'three thick, four thin' stack.

Attracted by the sheath I picked up this set of RRs from an AAPK store. They do slice paper really well; no idea how they would actually perform processing game. The steel is identified as 8CR14MOV

Some great looking knives being posted here.
Quick Steel, I like the blade shapes on that pair of RR's, they sure look like all you'd need to get game from field to freezer.
Got this one out last week to add a deer skin and antler bead lanyard that I fashioned and snapped a few picks. Picked this one up about 4 years ago at a primitive archery rendezvous in TN. Made from an old nicholsen file with a osage handle by a hobby knife maker named Greg B. 8-1/2" overall with a
4-1/4" blade. Greg B. also made the beautiful and sturdy sheath. Thanks for looking fellas.

Thanks for your compliment Q.S.

... and yes the osage does have some character with the growth rings exposed. Another thing about osage is that it is always getting darker with age from exposure to light, it will eventually be a very dark brown.
Thanks John, glad ya like it.

Don't know if I have posted this one before but the mention of osage handles brought it to mind. Made by Jimmy Lile(RIP)for the Duxbak Co.(an outfitter I believe)this is #333 of 500.Came in the original box with all the paperwork.Tapered tang drop point hunter with a sheath that can be mounted on either side and a lanyard that holds the knife securely but can be rapidly deployed. I swapped a pinstriping job about 40 years ago on a Mercedes Benz that one of my customers owned for this.He was a lawyer who took it as partial payment from a client. He is no longer a lawyer but instead restores vintage Bugatti automobiles.

Looks like a totally coherent knife, i.e. both beautiful and highly practical if one wishes to use it. Congrats!
