WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!! REAL NICE!!!!!TPK wrote:Hi folks,
Just got this Hoffritz. Feels great in your hand.
Enjoy the pics.

I carry so much "stuff" in my pockets now, there isn't room for another knife and actually no need for one. My 72 Frankenknife does every thing I need it to do on the rare occasion that I need a knife.Steve Warden wrote:Nice!!! But you don't carry both because....?jerryd6818 wrote:I'll be dadgummed Glenn if you didn't spy with your one good eye. Now that you brought that up, it's obvious. Congratulations. You're the man of the hour.
Edit: Oh yeah. Forgot to add my 14th Camillus 14 that came a couple of days ago. I'm such a sucker for these. I just can't pass them up when they're going for cheap (which is most of the time). If I didn't carry a 72, this is what I would be carrying.
(this coming from a guy who MAY carry more than one knife twice a year!}
Too true Philip. Too true.treefarmer wrote:Floyd, you're messin' with fire when you go to collecting them 72s. Look what it's done to Jerryd!![]()

Sorry to say, there is no cure.doglegg wrote:I think I must have ate after Jerry or something. He's got me infected. I'm sure he is a carrier. Thanks Philip.
Nice lot. I'm partial to those 72s myself. Don't know how I missed them. Good for you!doglegg wrote:JerryD, for the 14th time, that is a knice looking 14.![]()

N W NY, great pick up on the scout knife book.![]()
TPK that Hoffritz is a great pick up. I'm kinda partial to german knives and that one is a beauty.![]()
SSK, that 12 is sweet but the Tuna Valley could be the prom Queen. That is a gorgeous knife.![]()

Two little 72's came today. They popped up on the bay a buy now $28, and free shipping and I couldn't resist. The one is a long line and the other a short line. DSCN5727.JPGDSCN5728.JPG
Also got a Camillus rope knife from 'bestgear', thanks Tom. It suffers from a little overly aggressive sharpening but it called me.DSCN5729.JPGDSCN5730.JPG
And from knifeaholic, thanks Steve, an Utica tool kit knife. Like new shape, now to watch for the tools.DSCN5731.JPGDSCN5732.JPG
I resent the descriptor "little". It's a medium size knife that punches waay above it's weight class.doglegg wrote:Thanks N W NY. Happened to be there when they popped up. They are hard little knives to resist.
Jerry, anything smaller than a Bowie is little. Also here in the South 'little' is often a term of endearment. Sorry I offended your little millennial heart.jerryd6818 wrote:I resent the descriptor "little". It's a medium size knife that punches waay above it's weight class.doglegg wrote:Thanks N W NY. Well, now I take exception to the "millennial" label. Floyd, you should put your shovel away. You just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper.doglegg wrote:Jerry, anything smaller than a Bowie is little. Also here in the South 'little' is often a term of endearment.
