Picked up a Thomaston cutlery 1887-1930 made in CT. from Scott
Vally Forge with ebony handles and a unused Roberson 622056
a unused Metropolitan Cutlery CO.. NY corn knife

1967redrider.....in case you couldn't read the small print.....your NKCA knife was sold as a set. A case 6592SS and a Queen #49 which is a 4 blade stag.
Original price for the pair was $90....current value for the pair is $475....hope this helps.

Finally got the Bower #75 hunter in the mail, could this be green bone? Really reminds me of a Case hunter from the XX period. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Very nice Falah & Redrider // got these two in mail today . a lot of blade on the Whaler which was a copy of a old Platts

Man...I really like the etch on those whaler's!!
I think they should have put the long pull and the nail nick on the master blade though.

very nice GEC whaler. they were out of those when i got there, so i bought a stag 73 for 2011.
there is a 2011 gec whaler on ebay now, going for$449 plus $10.30 s&h.
go figure

Chetr thanks , thats the same guy i got it from. he worked on the CAD program for that knife for GEC.

Here's something I got today, which is a bit unusual, for me anyway. Anyone else seen one of these. It's hellforstout made.
Nice sheath. A Cliff made in 1957. I'm guessing at the date number. Big snap. I show it up against a Case Hunter XX USA for comparison of length and similar nail nick. Thanks for looking.

He's a local scalper. He's had two on eBay taking away the chance of guys like chet who drove a few hundreds of miles hoping to buy one.

I wonder how many of the 30 he hogged up? I'm surprised GEC let him do that.
