I got one off eBay a few years ago but it was poorly packed with another knife which tore the end out of the envelop and the other knife made it but the Two-Can didn't.
Finally. After several years of searching, I've completed the set. It's not pristine but it's not horrible either. At least I now have all four.
Awesome pal! Happy for you!!

This little Bulldog is a charmer. Made in Japan it is 3 1/4" of mechanical precision. The cutting edges and tips are razor sharp. Very firm half stops, beautifully sounding snaps. [To me, some snaps sound more "exact' than others. Very subtle but distinctive.] Virtually invisible runups.
Came with box and complete instructions on how to disassemble/reassemble the knife. This Bulldog Groundhog is a knife for special occcasions.
I often think Bulldogs are fine values, but this one for $50 is incredible.

Great looking H.W. Muskrat. The Trapper is his work also isn't it? Any day the mailman brings knives like those is a great day.

Was it something you were specifically looking for or something you discovered? Interesting knife.

I didn't know Newburgh, NY ever had a cutlery company. I found out that it existed (1917-1925) while I was reading my copy of "Knives Of The Hudson Valley." It also helped that I'm from that area. I figured I would try to get at least 1 example of an Allen Cutlery Co. knife. So I did. No tang stamp(s). There is another one on eBay with the 1917 patent date, but not enough blade left for me. I like this knife, no frills, just metal. It reminds me of a 1953 Solingen, Germany, Mercator knife I used to have. Sometimes less is more.
***** Allen Knives were made in Newburgh NY in fact they are the only knife company ever listed for being made in Newburgh. However there is a bit more to the story one of the principles who was involved with Allen was a fellow named Whitehead who had been a General manager with Walden Knife years earlier. Now this style of knife originally was made by the Eagle knife company and later after Allen by Walden knife as well as others. It was an inexpensive design and a take off of the old penny knife (using metal handles not wood). This knife under the same patent was made for the Ulery knife company (which was made by Napanoch). Later Winchester bought Napanoch, Walden and Eagle. Allen went out of business. *****

Thanks! I was just informed that it has a saw, not a serrated blade, I stand happily corrected.

Baykeeper, Just for fun, allow me to quibble. I see why the blade may be called a saw. Yet, what does one call the teeth on any saw? Are they not serrations? Could not all saws be called serrated blades? Could not yours?

[Obviously, I have too much time on my hands.

LOL, I guess it could be called a "serrated" saw blade, I can accept that. I think having time on your hands makes a person more intelligent, so loiter on brother!

But then saying "serrated saw blade" is as redundant as saying "ATM machine", "VIN number", or "Grand Slam Home Run"

Thank goodness. Someone who finally get's it. I was trained on and repaired ATM's for NCR. It annoyed the living snot out of me to hear people calling them "ATM machine". (Automated Teller Machine machine)
Now given that, I may have (at one time or another) been guilty of saying VIN number.

Ok, guys, I'm officially confused; how about I just call it a 5" Folding Hunter so no one gets snippy? BTW: I
NEVER call an ATM a machine, just ATM, and a grand slam is just that, a grand slam, (on the senior menu at Denny's right?); so does that sooth any furrowed brows?

No furrowed brows here. Just some friendly poking. Hope it hasn't upset anyone.
