Q - glad to see the Mini-T monkey is only retired and still with the living. I noticed your interests have shifted - I think thats healthy ... not good to permanently focus in only one area (or mfg, pattern, etc in this case). I find myself in the same boat as Jerry - not buying much anymore ... I am fortunate to have amassed a stockpile of more than I'll ever have time to use when the gettin' was good ... plus, as we all know, the used market has changed very significantly since the heyday of only a few years ago when great deals could be had on eBay. ::tu::

You barely got started collecting x507s. Only one, IIRC. Take good care of the world's only x407.

Between medical bills and every thing else I have to buy being inflated I've resorted to buying Chinese knives and this week a Parker. The Parker is a very well fitted and finished knife. I bought Queens before their prices spiked. The good not so old days. You NEED an amber cut bone stag 4 1/4" Stockman! Queen also made Whittlers on that frame but I do not recall any with ACBS. Club etched stag 4 1/4" Whittlers on the same 49 or 50 frame were common. I never did figure out why the frame was somtimes numbered 49 and some times 50.

For some reason I though you would, John ::nod::

This is the second time Case has released a 107W with flaming pink jigged bone covers called "Bubba Gum". The first run was in 2014 and had an easy open notch, engraved bolsters and the blades were etched with "Lady Case" (apparently the great minds at Case thought the color would appeal more to the feminine tastes ::undecided:: ). Those knives ened up becomming quite popular and highly sought after to the point that they were fetcing incredibly high prices on the secondary market; I watched one Lady Case 107W sell for almost $300 on eBay!!! Now that Case has flooded the markte with a second run, it will be interesting to see if that affects the prices of the first run Bubba Gum knives.

Here's a first run Bubba Gum 107W from 2014
