Thanks, it was a really nice day to be out there and I found a bunch of agates because the high water rolled things around a bit.

There is a downed limb along one of my walking routes. I have walked past it a few times in the last couple of months, always admiring the hues and texture of the wood. This morning, before I left the house, I grabbed some old bones to exhibit on this "natural showcase".
Great shot. Mother Nature makes the best backdrops IMO.

Each of your last 2 posts of photos have such an alluring quality about them, despite being so different. I like them all, but really like the steps in the fog. Great work, thanks for posting.

I think the first photo has a very haunting quality to it. Love the atmosphere.

Wow!

That's pretty darn cool! Color & Black & White!
How in the world does that work?
Some kind of filter?
Great pictures as always!

Great pic Scott. I think that is the first time I've seen the Red Mini T in it's nest!

It's a feature called "live focus" I think the camera takes pictures in 2 focal plains so it can separate the treatment of each.

Beautiful shots and knives, Scott and John, some nice color.
I had a Waterville along on my Winter woods walk this morning.

Lots of good photos taken today. Ike I particularly like the shot of your knife surrounded by yellow fungi with a touch of ice.

Looks like a very nice walk, and a cool (perhaps even cold) knife.
