Barry,
How's that GEC auto work? Think I've seen one on these pages, but never seen an explanation or pics of what triggers the blade open. TIA

You push the button on the bolster to release the blade.

Same to unlock it.

My wife picked these up in an Ace Hardware in Chicago.
The Old Timer has a 1994 trademark date. The electrician's knife is marked Gardner Bender,
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have no idea of country of origin.
The Case has a 1999 tang stamp. 61048 SS on back although the box says Peanut 6220SS.
Was the knife put in the wrong box or was the sticker put on the wrong box. The box is
way too big for a peanut. Did they use a smaller box or just stuff paper in the box so a
peanut wouldn't rattle around?
I am sending her back to the store when she goes back. She had to ask for pocketknives and
they pulled out an old red toolbox for her to dig around in. I'd say she did pretty well.

Aawww crap, I'm sorry Dale.
I always figured I'd snake someone off the boards one day. I missed one a week earlier, and so i was a bit more aggressive on this one. If it's a pattern you needed, let me know and we can work something out.

No problem Mike!
I got one Camillus and three other Robesons from that seller.
One of them is a strawberry bone Barlow, a Barlow I don't have.
I can't wait for it to get here!
