How about some old Pre 1902 Shapleigh stag made by Empire,
A.F. Shapleigh Hardware Co. St. Louis Mo. According to Goins Encyclopedia 1888-1902
Clark, I picked up this Shapleigh's St. Louis Mo. fixed blade recently, no stag on the handle, but can you tell anything about it? When it might have been made? Why it doesn't say 'A.F. Shapleigh Hardware Co. St. Louis Mo.'? Thanks in advance
It doesn't say A.F. Shapleigh cause they made different stamps my stamp dates 1888-1902. Yours i take it from the Goins Encyclopedia of Markings is 1920-60 I don't anything bout fixed blades but could be around 1940's time frame if I had to guesstimate.
Thanks!

"TooMany", thinks it might have been from the 20's ...

so that fits right in with your statement.

Nice Rick, from what I’ve seen the stag on all those 94’s is pretty nice. Good looking knife.
Iman, I drool over the fine knives you have and the great stag in your collection. What great looking knives.
