I sure do love that Pearl hound dog...the collar detail really does it for me. I'll have to keep an eye out for one! Very nice collection.

Old And Rare, But NOT As Far As The Tang Stamp Is Concerned…..

Here’s a little background story about this pocket knife. I bought a pocket knife on eBay around the middle of November 2022. It never ended up in my possession. The seller tracked it down and had it sent back to him. He re-sent the knife to me AND included this particular pocket knife as well. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became, at the time, the most recent example to be added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a GEO SCHRADE, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/8" closed (not including the ring or loop), pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "GEO SCHRADE (over) PAT APD FOR" The main handle side says, "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf" and has graphics of the wolf and the three little pigs. The other handle side says, "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf" and has graphics of the wolf and the three little pigs. The main blade does have a CRISP half stop. The main blade does have a NASTY opening snap. The main blade does have a NASTY closing snap. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I did have to clean the blade a little bit.
I took some pictures and here it is.

Sweet little knife that I, also, never knew existed. And you can't beat that price for what seems to be quite the rarity.

Hard to believe this knife is about 90 years old. I think they are somewhat rare as they were made for less than 10 years.

Added a nice 3 5/8" ebony whittler, Fletcher Hardware Detroit, Goins has 1863 to 1912 so it's an old one. Don't know who made it. Etched Trade Mark with bulldog head between Trade and Mark. Does have a diamond on pile side main tang, I have seen various symbols on the back of early American tangs which are thought to be the steel makers marks.
