It's the only late model Case pattern that I've found that consistently has outstanding walk and talk.

John, I am not usually a big muskrat fan but I like that one. 'Ratcliffe', I even like the name. That is very desirable. Great knife. ::tu:: ::nod::

Thanks Doglegg - funny, I never cared for muskrats either ... but I've become quite a fan of the Ratcliffe - I find it's so much more versatile with that wharncliffe blade & I'm a sucker for hard snap.

Collectorknives.net exclusive. LionSteel Otnat (reverse tanto blade). OD Green G10 handles, slip joint, M390 steel and Titanium frame.

These have a stop pin inside the blade well to prevent blade rap. Nice crisp action. Radiused backspring. I like it.

Looks good Rick. Heard a lot of good things about those knives. I like the OD Green handles and also how they're "rounded off" at the edges, not cut flat like a lot of other makers do. Makes it very comfortable to use. ::tu::

Your knife illustrates why the Italians have been dominating the Blade Show awards in recent years. A very sophisticated looking knife. ::tu::

Thanks guys!

John,
Closed length is 3 13/16". It feels good in the hand with a four finger grip. I had planned to take a "grip" photo but I forgot to do that. Fills the hand well though.

I picked up a couple of barlows for Christmas. :)
One is the new Boker Gold, and the other is from the 2005 Tang Stamp Series.

Found this un while trolling the 'bay yesterday.
The gorgeous bone caused a knee-jerk reaction bid because the auction
had less than 5 minutes left.

Only after I bid did I take a good look at the blades . . . ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::
Still, even with the ground-off blade it'll make a decent user (I hope).

Thought it was either a 31 or 35; tang appears to be 6214 1/2
::woot::

Seller's pics, obviously

Oh yes, I see the main blade has been re-tipped. I feel like it is a bit deceptive of a seller not to point that out.
But, then again, I'm sure many of the sellers on the bay only want to make money...... go figure.....LOL.

Still a nice knife!
Mike

My faux son-in-law put in a request for a knife he can carry with him on hikes, bicycle rides and can open with gloves on. His request is my command.

What is a "faux" son in law ?
Is it the same as a "wanna be" son in law ?
Clearly not "ex" son in law or you would have said "ex son in law"
Hmmm.

An old Camillus hawk bill pruner from the early 1930's to mid 1940's. The tang stamp is about rubbed off but I can make out the bottom two words. A bottom feeder off ebay.

My next favorite after the spatula knife is this little 1960 to late 1970's Camillus 77. A miniature 72. I included a pic with one for reference. Got it from our own Matt Sanders. Doesn't look like it was ever used.

77 and 72 for comparison.
