Thanks guys. It's going into my watch pocket rotation and will ride there tomorrow. That maiden voyage should give me a good idea if it earns its keep.

Here is what came today. Mcusta. VG-10 core surrounded by 33 layer nickel Damascus. The handle is made from the same Damascus as the blade. Comes w/ this Nishijin woven pouch. Very hefty for it’s size and razor sharp. The blade is thicker than you would think from looking at it and thicker than you would expect from a Seki made knife.

Thank you doglegg. It is a keeper. I was afraid I would be disappointed w/ it. All metal handles don’t usually do it for me but this one is over the top. That Damascus texture feels good in the hand and gives it a good grip.

Next is a Bulldog 3 blade Trapper in beautiful Greenbone. I spent considerable time looking to identify some flaw, somewhere. Couldn't find one. Even the contact of the blades with the springs is as precise as that we have been seeing recently on the superb Japanese knives. This is simply another example of the quality BD was capable of producing.

Lot of backspring in that Trapper QS!
I don’t buy many SAK’s but I do like the ALOX versions. Came across a small collection at a pawn & gun this week, grabbed another Electrician model. OH

I got this little oddity a couple of weeks ago. I know there have been previous posts on AAPK about this thing, but I had never seen one before. I have no idea why you would use one of these instead of a typical multitool or SAK, but when I saw it, I just had to have it!

QS, I love that green Bulldog. Very nice handles on that one.
Here is what came today. I was one of the lucky chosen to purchase this TB Teardrop Jack. A very striking red jigged bone handle and green CCC oval shield. Christmas etching on the blade. Only 460 produced. I’m a big fan of the teardrop jacks.
Hope you like it.

Just a little old Sears Medium Jack in the mail today. It needed some cleaning up but after a little Mothers Mag it looks as good as new. Yep, handles are wood, the bolsters are brass and the blades are brushed stainless steel.

Nice looking knife Jerry, what wood would those handles be? Walnut? I've seen a few of those popping up on flea bay recently and have thought about getting one myself. Don't know how it looked when ya got it but it sure looks spiffy cleaned up.

Greg, do you know if there is a name for that jigging on the wonderful old Case, or maybe a name for that pattern of scales?
