Mail carrier (literally) dropped this on my doorstep today. Stag on the mark side could be better but in the broad scope of things, I'm quite pleased with it. I'm really fixated on these Japanese Coleman's. Got - To - Get - Control!!

Two Parker Japanese made knives. The Pen knife has smooth bone handles, sharp blades. I'm not much into pen knives but I do like the feel and function of this one. Next is a stag horn folder. Toward the rear of the handle the horn is much thinner on one side than the other. But the main issue is a center pin which is very high. Opening is gritty which I hope to eliminate. Not a bad looking knife.

Canal Street Cutlery did make them for him in the past but the website says this model is Made In China.

Thanks for letting me know. Schradenut gifted me one of the CSC's in Oiled Ram's Horn and I have been on the lookout for another to pair up with it. I was not aware that the pattern had been revised by AG and was being made in china...

Just Bob helped me check off a bucket list item with this hand made Bob Neal crooked knife. I've looked for a while for one that suited my taste and Bob had the one that helped me pull the trigger. The blade is dead center in the frame with a half stop and hard snap with zero side to side play. The covers are Elk which is very much to my liking. No telling how long Mr. Neal will continue to hand craft knives so I figured I'd better get this one checked-off sooner rather than later. A big shout-out to Just Bob and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Welcome back Scott. Glad to see you still have the fire in the belly for knives. Sometimes having heart surgery can change your motivation and mood. Hope you get back to doing everything you want to do.

I haven’t seen anything like this, that’s pretty darn amazing.
Here is what came in the mail for me. 3,count em 3, Case Green Ivy Bone knives. And the AAPK knife plus another one that was released at the same time, a two blade Northfield boys knife made w/ the same antique yellow bone as the AAPK knife.

Here is a LL Bean stamped swing guard. Some kind of composition covers on it.

Jerry, These are from 2015. I dug out my 2015 Case Product guide and they had 6 patterns in there. Which they said were new. The first time they came out with this pattern was 2009 and they had different patterns then.
In addition to those 3 are the stockman, seahorse whitler and mini trapper.
I can’t remember all that came out in 2009, I only have the Canoe from that time period. I think these were all larger patterns and standard patterns.
Interesting side note. None of these three have been deburred. Not worried about it since I didn’t get them to be used. But if I could figure out how to debure these w/out scratching the blades, I would. This isn’t the first time I have had a Case knife that missed this process.
