Those are six nice knives you posted today. I particularly like the Folding Hunter, and the Big Belly Trapper. But that last knife, the Shapeshifter, is the real eye catcher out of that bunch!

Thanks, Tony and Mel! I understand the “stigma” of a knife being made in China, but if someone didn’t know these were from China, they’d swear they were GEC quality. And, I agree with you, these are really GOOD looking knives. I’ve gotten quite a few Rough Ryders over the years, but these are my first Reserves, and I couldn’t be happier with them.

Tim - I see that you posted that Shapeshifter over on Wharncliffe Wednesday. I was thinking that it would fit in well in that thread. Here is a Rough Ryder Reserve that I just got. It is a very well made knife with good attention to fit and finish.

Thanks, guys! And, SM, don’t go by me when it comes to colors. My wife and I always disagree, and although I don’t say it to her, I think she’s mostly right!

I’ve been looking at this large (4.5”) red sowbelly (?) and just wondering if anyone else has one and their opinion. It’s RR2726.As to its size, how does it carry? Is it too large, etc? It sure looks nice. Sellers photo

I have never handled one so I have no personal knowledge about its qualities. However, I do know that it is on sale at SMKW for $16.42. That is a very tempting price for a knife like that!

I don’t have one either but I like the shape of the handle. Looks comfortable to use.
