I never would have been able to find one of these where I live, but eBay had one; and to be able to get one in this great of shape...never would I have guessed in a million years this model would make it into my collection.
Schrade Cut. Co. G1543 3/4 HUNTER’S PRIDE
A nice full blade and a faint “HUNTER’S PRIDE” etch
One of the nicest Schrades I have, and the biggest one on my Schrade list.

Very hard knife to find BFORSE, congratulations!
Been awhile since I've been able to land a nice Schrade but managed this bone handle 861. Really nice jumping, it was put on after the knife was finished and goes into the bolsters.

I am always on the lookout for any good examples of the many variants of schrade cut co jr cattle patterns.
I found this 8584 3/4 and I am very happy with it. It’s in nice used but not abused condition and is rock solid and snappy. I love the golden pearl cell handles, it’s such a great color. You can bet I will tote it around after a sharpening.

This Cut Co. whittler's a late arrival and worth the wait. Sweetest action and tight no wobble open after all these years. And who's making bones like this these days? Hmmmmnn.

Here is my latest addition....
I was a little confused about the tang stamp when I first got it. I ask about it in another thread and it seems this is
the first of the first "new" Old Timer line.
The next tang stamp (also produced in the first year) is the SCHRADE-WALDEN tang stamp.
Like this.....

Thanks for continuing to post all your great new Schrade examples. Always love seeing them.
I don't know how long this knife was up for sale but I pulled the trigger as soon as I saw it. I like metal handled pen-knives. Paying attention to what's on sale here has its benefits.

It's a salesman sample SS7099Si. It's my first inked Cut Co sample knife and will look great with my M7099GSil Shac. One has a carbon cutting blade and file with nickel silver handles, the new one (in outstanding condition) has two stainless blades and stainless handles.
