Tim, it looks and feels so good that I just cannot send it back. I have had the same problem with GEC and Case (for more money) and I did not send them back. Perhaps I should not have said so much about the negatives. That knife really is beautifully made.

Totally understand, Mel. I haven’t bought a RRR yet, but I do have a collection of RRs. A few may have less than perfect snap, but most feel like good quality knives - and I’m happy with them. And, let’s face it, the quality you’re getting for the price….well, can’t beat that, can you!

Exactly right.

That knife looks good! Easy opening cutouts, lockback, two nail nicks, beautiful bone and shield: I think that one has all the bells and whistles.

I've been pondering that one myself. I like that it's a lockback, but I wish it had a spatula or a pipe poker ::hmm::

Here is my newest RR. This is a RR2226 Peanut. Construction is first class in every detail. Blade pull and snap is perfect. Fit and finish on the bone handles is very nice. The blades are sharp and have needle points. The knife is a bit smaller than I like to carry, and that is the only negative thing I can think of to say about it.

"FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS EAT FRIENDS" ? But what if one of your friends is hungery and the other is just a delicious AAPK member? Friends have to eat too. Silly knife. More appropriate on Halloween.

This is a fun one I picked up at SMKW just last week - apparently a leftover commemorative for the 2021 Rod Run held each spring in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Those are three nice looking knives, Tim. I like number one the best!

Here is a recent acquisition. I am not sure what I think of this one. This is another peanut. Note the rather small/short main blade and the overall thickness of the knife.

A Case Peanut would be not so wide, have a longer clip blade, usually bright polished blades and radiused handle edges but it would cost three or four times as much.

Real nice one there, Mel!
The bottom one is my favorite, too, cudgee- not that I don’t like the other two, as well. Seriously, these are solid, heavy knives that just feel good. I caught all three on sale, so couldn’t have been happier with the price.

Very Nice, SwedgeHead! That shield does look cool with the tortoise shell handles.
